Mould removal or more accurately “mould control” is the process best left to the professionals. Prolonged exposure to mould can be a serious health hazard. Every mould infestation is unique. Therefore, each scenario requires a customised solution. However in general the process stays the same. We follow multi stage process for a “typical” mould remediation infestation:

  • Emergency Contact
  • Inspection and/or Mould Damage Assessment
  • Mould Containment
  • UVC Air Sanitation
  • Removing Mould
  • Fumigating affected area
  • Cleaning Contents and Belongings

Emergency Contact

The mould clean-up and restoration process begins when you call us. We will ask you a series of questions to help us determine the necessary equipment and resources required to provide you with the best possible outcome. Call Garry on 0452530205 to discuss your mould control requirements.

Inspection and Mould Damage Assessment

Following initial contact, we will inspect your property to assess the damage. Especially in cases of a complex mould infestation. Mould feeds on cellulose and water and can be hidden from plain view. But in many cases, you can simply send us photos of mould affected areas for a quick initial assessment.

Mould removal or Mould Containment

After the initial inspection, where possible and practical, our technicians will isolate mould infected areas. As a result, we will stop the mould spreading through your home/business premises.

Air Treatment prior to mould removal

Following mould containment, we generally will complete ozone treatment to kill all air bourne mould particles.

Removing Mould and Mould Infested Materials

The mould remediation process depends on the amount of mould growth and the types of surfaces on which the mould appears. We will use anti-fungal and antimicrobial treatments to eliminate mould colonies. That helps to prevent new colonies from forming. Sometimes it may be necessary to remove and dispose of mould infested materials, like plaster and carpet. In severe cases of mould infestation, it could be more practical to have affected areas replaced.

In addition, once visible mould is treated, we will fumigate affected areas with the hospital grade disinfectant. And once again use our bacteria killing UVC lamps to kill mould particles in the air.

Cleaning Contents and Belongings

Furthermore, we can also clean your furniture, decorative items, curtains, clothing, and other items affected by mould. Our technicians use a variety of cleaning techniques to clean and disinfect your belongings. We can also treat unpleasant odours and deodorise your home or office with our commercial fogging equipment.
